Astrology of BIPPA, It cannot benefit Nepal

Kathmandu, October 21; India and Nepal signed Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA) and two more agreements on Friday evening in New Delhi.
According to the planetary position, the time when the agreement signed the agreement is not favourable for Nepal. The agreement will not be beneficial to Nepal as the Ketu is in lagna, which means Nepal could never get benefit from this agreement. Nepal will always have to bear loss due to agreement.
The agreement will also create misunderstanding between Nepal and India, according to the retrograde Jupiter. Nepal will have to bear losses till 2014 due to combusted Saturn.
After 2014, the agreement could be revised and that might give benefit to Nepal.
The BIPPA has drawn more criticism in Nepal than support. Prime Minister Dr Babauram Bhattarai has lied the House before visiting Delhi that he is not going to do any agreement during his visit as it is only goodwill visit.
He will have to face the house and his own Party's opposition when he returns for his lie.
Dr Bhattarai was the person, who handed over 40-point memorandum to the NC government in 1996, January 15 and went under ground for 10 year long People's War. Many of the points that the 40-point memorandum was about India. Now, the same person Dr Bhattarai has done a very disputed agreement to remain in the post of Prime Minister. The history will judge him either he is a nationalist like he always claimed or a traitor.

Good Heavens! The Minnesota Planetarium Society has announced a thirteenth sign, Ophiuchus, should be added to the zodiac charts and it’s causing some cosmic confusion.
"He's always been there,” Theresa Peacock, local psychic and astrologer said. “Just because we now discovered him, what, we immediately label it a new sign? No."
The constellation Ophiuchus sits between Scorpius and Sagittarius. It’s causing an astrological abnormality for many people outside of the astrology and astronomy world.
"Technically, it is in the same plane as the other constellations in the Zodiac,” Adam Kremer, local astronomer said. “But it was never included in the zodiac sign. It's always been there, nothing has changed."
What has changed is the renewed interest in the celestial sign. The Minnesota Planetarium Society is calling for a thirteenth sign, which could signal a change for astrology. Instead of ruling for 28 days, some signs would rule for three weeks. In the case of Scorpio, it would rule for six days.
"If we want to add another sign, we're gonna have to remap the way we do astrology,” Peacock said. “Because, we won't shorten one sign to six days, that's insane."
Peacock recommends research before any changes are made. And while it’s not set yet set in ink, Dale Clifford’s tattoo certainly is. Up until now, he was a Gemini, with a tattoo commemorating his parents’ memory. Under the amended astrological chart, he’s a Taurus and no bull; he says he’s not changing it.
"No, it's a tattoo,” Clifford said. “It’s permanent, so my forearm tells me I'm forever a Gemini, I don't care what the new zodiac scientists do."

If you don’t have any good muhurta pre-calculated for your purpose, you can use the muhurta of the mid day (i.e. when the Sun is at the highest point in the sky at a particular location). This muhurta is called Abhijit muhurta and is universally good. Abhijit means great victory. The reason why shastras recommend on this is because at mid day, the Sun is located three signs (equivalent to 6 hrs) behind the Lagna and thus will be located in the 10th house from the Lagna (each Rasi is a house with Lagna as the 1st house, the houses are counted in the zodiacal direction, 10th house represents one's karma and the success in it). यमपञ्चकको पाँचौं दिन भाइटीका पर्छ । यो दिन दाजुभाइको महत्त्व बेग्लै हुन्छ । भाइटीकालाई लामो समयसम्म भेटघाट नभएका दाजुभाइसँग भेटघाट हुने, सम्बन्धमा आएको चिसोपन हटाई मिलन गराउने तथा सम्बन्धलाई अझ दिगो बनाउने माध्यमका रूपमा लिइन्छ । दिदीबहिनी भाइटीकाको अघिल्लै दिन दाजुभाइलाई भाइटीकाको निम्ता स्वरूप पान-सुपारी आदि दिइन्छ । भाइटीकाका दिन टीका नलगाई केही खान हुँदैन । टीकाको दिन बिहानै नुहाएर अष्टचिरञ्जीवीको पूजा गर्नुपर्छ । यमराज, हनुमान्, विभीषण, परशुराम अष्ट चिरञ्जीवीभित्र पर्छन् । भाइटीका गर्न ओखर, तोरीको तेल, बिमिरा, मसला, मखमली, दूबो तथा सयपत्रीको माला, रोटी, मीठा-मीठा परिकारको आवश्यकता पर्छ । सबैभन्दा पहिले दियो, कलश तथा गणेशको पूजा गरी बिमिराको पूजा गर्नुपर्छ । त्यसपछि दाजुभाइको मंगलको कामना गर्दै ढोकामा ओखरको तथा यमराजको पूजा गरी कालको बाटो छेक्नुपर्छ । पानी तथा तेलले ७ घेरा हाली दाजुभाइलाई छेक्नुपर्छ । फूल, अक्षता, चन्दन तथा लाभाले पूजा गरी दाजुभाइको शिरमा तेल लगाइदिनुपर्छ । सगुनका रूपमा दही दिनुपर्छ । भाइटीकाका दिनमा दाजुभाइलाई लगाइदिने मखमली, सयपत्री तथा दूबोको मालाको छुट्टै महत्त्व छ । मखमली कहिल्यै ओइलाउँदैन, सयपत्रीको रंगकहिल्यै उडेर जाँदैन भने दूबो सधै हरियै रहन्छ । दिदीबहिनीले दाजुभाइको यश, आरोग्य, दीर्घायुको कामना गर्दै निधारमा सप्तरंगी टीका लगाइदिन्छन् । सप्तरंगी टीकामा भावना मिसिएको शान्ति बताउँछिन् । दाजुभाइप्रतिको प्रेम रंगजस्तै गाढा तथा निरोगी भैरहने विश्वास गरिन्छ। दिदीबहिनीले दाजुभाइलाई ढाकाको टोपी लगाइदिन्छन् । यसले आयु बढाउनुका साथै राष्ट्रियता झल्काउँछ । टीका लगाएपछि उपहार आदान-प्रदान गरिन्छ । दाजुभाइ वा दिदीबहिनी नहुनेहरूले रानीपोखरीस्थित मन्दिरमा पूजाआजा गर्छन् । भाइटीकाको पौराणिक कथा परापूर्व कालमा मृत्युका राजा यमराज आफ्नी बहीनी यमुनालाई भेट्न आएका थिए । यमराज यमलोकमा बस्थे भने यमुना पृथ्वीमा । त्यसैले यमुनाले निमन्त्रणा गरी यमुराजलाई भेट्न बोलाइन् । त्यो बेलामा यमपञ्चक परेको थियो । यमपञ्चकभर यमुना कहाँ बसे । भाइटीकाको दिन यमुनाले दाजुलाई पूजा गरी उपहार दिइन् र दाजुसँग आशीर्वाद लिइन् । त्यहीबेलादेखि नै भाइटीकाको प्रारम्भ भएको पाइन्छ ।

Lakshmi Ganesh Puja is the most significant aspect of Tihar celebrations in Nepal. Hindus observe the elaborate Lakshmi Ganesh Pooja with devotion and sincerity. It is believed that by propitiating Goddess Laxmi on the auspicious Dipawali night one is blessed with riches and prosperity.

Hindu businessmen regard the day of dipawali as New Year's time. They start new account books on this day and seek blessings from Goddess Lakshmi. DALLAS (Reuters Life!) - Although most Americans are Christian and many are devout it hasn't stopped some members of the flock from believing in astrology, reincarnation or the ability of trees to trap spiritual energy.
A poll by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life shows a surprising number of U.S. adults claim to have had supernatural experiences such as ghost sightings or hold beliefs associated with the New Age movement or Eastern religions.
And some of them claim allegiance to more traditional faiths such as Catholicism or evangelical Protestantism.
"American religious folks hold a variety of views and there is overlap among their beliefs and practices. Many do not fit into simple boxes," said Pew researcher Alan Cooperman.
The poll released on Wednesday showed that three-in-ten Americans say they have felt in touch with a dead person and 18 percent say they have seen or been in the presence of a ghost.
Other Pew surveys have shown that relatively few Americans would identify an Eastern religion or New Age spirituality as their core faith. But about a quarter of those surveyed say they believe in aspects of Eastern religions.
Nearly 25 percent said they believed in reincarnation and 23 percent said yoga was a spiritual practice. Twenty six percent said they believed "spiritual energy" could be found in objects such as trees.
A quarter said they believed in astrology, while 16 percent of U.S. adults think that an "evil eye" exists or that some people can cast curses or spells on others. Among black Protestants the evil eye figure is 32 percent.
The number of Americans who profess a belief in astrology is about the same as the number who claim to be Roman Catholic. Nearly 30 percent of Catholics surveyed said they believed in astrology. Among Catholics who attended church each week the figure was 16 percent.
Much of this would be jarring to -- among others -- many evangelical Protestants, who account for one in four adult Americans and take their Bible very seriously.
Still, 13 percent of white evangelicals profess a belief in astrology and about 10 percent accepted the possibility of reincarnation. Although the percentages are lower than in other groups, they are high enough to curl the hair of a Southern Baptist preacher.
Researchers said they were careful to stress that reincarnation meant being reborn again and again in this world and did not refer to, say, the resurrection of Christ.
Evangelicals, who place a heavy emphasis on spiritual conversions, are much more likely than most Americans to have had "a religious or mystical experience -- that is, a moment of religious or spiritual awakening," according to the poll.
About half of Americans claim to have had such an experience but among white evangelicals the number is 70 percent and for black Protestants it is 71 percent.
The nationwide survey of around 4,000 adults was conducted in August. Interviews were done in English and Spanish.

अतः अर्थसँग सम्बन्धित कुनै पनि प्रश्नको विचार यिनै भावको स्थितिलाई ध्यानमा राखी गर्ने गरिन्छ । यी सबै भाव र भावेशमा धनेश -द्वितीयेश) र लाभेश -एकादशेश) को स्थितिलाई बढी महत्वपर्ूण्ा मानिन्छ । यसको परस्पर सम्बन्ध र बलाबल व्यक्तिलाई जीवनमा सम्पर्ूण्ा लाभ दिने सूचक बन्दछ । जस्तो कि ः-
वित्तायोदयराशयः पतियुता वित्ताधिको जायते
लाभस्थौ धनलाभयौ निजसुहृदत तुङ्गादिगौ चेत्तथा ।
तद्वत् लाभ धनाधिपौ तनुगतावन्योन्यमिष्टग्रहौ
लग्नेशे धनलाभराशिपयुते लग्ने बहुद्रव्यवान ।।

यदि द्वितीयको स्वामी र एकादश भावको स्वामी ग्रह बुध र वृहस्पति छ । या परस्पर संयोग केन्द्र त्रिकोणमा भएको छ भने यस्तो कुण्डलीवाला व्यक्ति अपार सम्पदाको मालिक हुनेछ । यदाः-
बली धनेशो धनकारकौ तथा बुधेज्यकौ केन्द्रसूतर्क्ष्र्ााग्यौ ।
लाभे निजांशे यदि वा निजालये स्थ्ितौ धनाढ्य कुरुतो नरं सदा ।। केरलसार
कहिलेकाही यो पनि देखिएको छ कि व्यक्तिलाई आकस्मिक कसैद्वारा धन लाभ हुने हुन्छ । या उसलाई कसैको सम्पत्तिको उत्तराधिकारी बनाइन्छ यसको पनि ज्योतिष शास्त्रमा वर्ण्र्ाागरिएको छ । यस्तो योगको लागि अनिवार्य र्सत छ कि धनेश लग्नमा स्थित हुनुपर्ने र अन्यग्रहसँग संयोग हुनुपर्ने हुन्छ जस्तो कि यदि धनेश तृतीयेशसँग लग्नमा छ भने उसलाई आफ्नो भाइको सम्पत्ति प्राप्त हुनेछ या हुन्छ । यदि लग्नेश र द्वितीयेशको योग लग्नमा छ भने यस्तो व्यक्तिलाई अत्यन्तै लाभ हुनेछ । यसप्रकार धनेश जुन भावको कारक ग्रहसँग लग्नमा योग गर्दछ त्यस भावसँग सूचित द्रव्य या स्थिर सम्पत्तिलाई प्राप्त गर्ने हुन्छ । जस्तो कि ः-
वित्ताधीशे लग्नगे लग्ननाथे वित्तस्थाने˜यन्तेता वित्तमव ।
यदावस्थौ लग्नवित्तेश्वरौ चेत् तन्मूलात् तु द्रव्यवृत्तिनेराणाम् ।।

धनेश बक्री हुनु विशेष लाभदायक मानिन्छ । बक्री धनेश सबै दिशामा लाभ दिलाउने छ ।
बक्रो˜सौ चेद्दिक्षु र्सवार्थसिद्धि ।। जातकपारिजात् ११।५८।

The astrology which developed in China is known as sino-astrological system. This system of astrology spread from China to the several Asian countries: Mongolia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Kampuchea, Myanmar, Thiland, Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal and India. About 75% population of Asia uses this astrological system. This astrological system entered Nepal via Tibet; hence, this system is known as Sino-Tibetan astrology. The life cycle sacraments and ceremonies of all the higher Himalayan communities of Nepal: Limyal, Mugal, Dolpo, Loba, Nesyangba, Sherpa, Topkegola, Lomi etc. along with some lower Himalayan peoples: Thakali, Gurung, Tamang and Lepcha, is based on this astrological system. The Buddhist Newars of Nepal also had the tradition of consulting Sino-Tibetan astrology until the period of Pratap Malla. The symbols of the twelve animals of Sino-Tibetan astrology carved in stone slabs and attached to the pedestal of the huge gilt bronze Vajra at Svayambhu Chaitya are the evidences of this astrological system related to the Newar cultural tradition. This huge Vajra with Dharmadhatu Mandala was offered and placed here by Pratap Malla in the eastern entrance of Svayambhu Chaitya on Nepal Era 788 (1667 A.D.). Similarly, the Hindu astrologers living in northern hills of Nepal usually use Indian astrolgical system for their Hindu clints, and also use this Sino-Tibetan astrological system for their Buddhist clients. This fact shows the popularity of Sino-Tibetan astrological system in Nepal.
The Sino-Tibetan astrology is regarded as the Buddhist astrological system which has mutual relation to Buddhism (Terbish 1990: 46). So this system of astrology is the unseparative part of Buddhism as the Vedanga Jyotish of Hinduism. Although the Sino-Tibetan school of astrology studies the effect of the stars and the planets on the earth. The main basis of this astrological system is Kan and Tschi. The Kan is considered as the heavenly steam, which has five major divisions: Mu-wood, Huo-Fire, Fu-earth, Kin-metal and Schin-water; and the Tschi is the earthly branch with the symbolic forms of the different twelve animals and birds (James 1953 : 83). The Sino-Tibetan astrological system is one of the early systems of astrology. Hence, this astrological system is very natural, simple and practical in common human use. Twelve Lo, nine Meva and eight Parkha are the basic aspects of the Sino-Tibetan astrology.

The literally meaning of Lo is a year as well as the age of a person and the zodiac sign based on Sino-Tibetan astrological system. The twelve Los are the twelve symbols which are named after the different twelve animals and birds like the twelve zodiac signs of the Indian and Greek astrological system. The Gurung names of Lo and their meaning are slightly different from the original Tibetan Lo names.
This cycle of twelve Lo is just like the twelve Rashi, the zodiacal signs of Indian astrology. The Gurungs call Varga the Lo in the Nepali language. There are eight different Vargas in Indian astrology also like. 1. Garuda (the divine eagle), 2. Marjara (cat), 3. Simha (lion), 4. Shwan (dog), 5. Sarpa (Serpent), 6. Musaka (mouse), 7. Mriga (deer), 8. Mesa (sheep). So the Gurung Lo names seem to have been influenced by the Varga concept of Indian astrology, and consider Garuda the dragon, cat the hare and deer the hog.
The Lo cycle is circulated every year and that year is named by the name of present Lo. Similarly, while the cycle of twelve Lo turns five times it completes a cycle of sixty years. This greater cycle of sixty years is equivalent to the sixty Samvatsara cycle of the Indian astrology. There are three kinds of Lo-gSar, the new year days in Tibet which are celebrated in different days. gTol- Lo-gSar, the new year day which is celebrated in Pausa (December-January), has been reconized as the oldest one. bSod-Nams-Lo-gSar has been celebrated in Magha (January-February), whereas rGyal-Po-Lo-gSar has been celebrated in Phalguna (February-March). The Gurung tradition of new year's day differs from Tibetan traditions. The Gurungs acknowledge the 15th solar day of Pausa (December-January) as their new year day, which is related to gTol-Lo-gSar, the oldest new year's day of Tibet. It is believed that the process of increasing the duration of night and diminishing the duration of day ends on 15th solar day of Pausa (December-January), and the duration of day becomes longer from that day.
The Western geographers consider 22th December as a day which has longer night and shorter day within the year. According to the Vedang astrological calculation of eastern astrologers, such a date is in the beginning of the first week of Pausa (December-January). In this way there is a difference of only one week between 15th Pausa and the day from which date the process of diminishing the duration of day is already closed, and a new day is going to begin. This might be exact when the idea of Gurung new year day was developed in the remote past. Thus the Gurung concept of new year day, which has no relation with any religious and political incidents, seems very primitive, and is based on the nature as well as on the motion of the planets.
Mewa
The nine Mewas are the numerological geomancy or astrological marks, which are nine numbers and Mewa is used together with Lo to find out the characteristic quality of a person. Each person has its own particular Lo and Mewa. The combination of Lo and Mewa play vital role in the life the concerned person. Therefore to know and forecast the character of a particular person his/her Lo and Mewa have to be analyzed well. The nine Mewas also are represented in different nine elements.

Parkha
The next major aspect of Sino-Tibetan astrology is Parkha, the eight mystical signs. Parkha is an astrological diagram similar to the Kundali in the Indian astrology. Parkha has eight parts, which belong to the eight cosmic elements: water, wood, fire, earth, iron, hill, wind and sky. The omens for an individual are studied within Parkha on the basis of the age of an individual. The eight trigrams of Parkha were invented by Fu-Hsi (2953-2838 B.C.), the first of the five emperors of the legendary period of China, and it was rearranged by king Wan, the founder of Kau dynasty, on 1143 B.C. The ecliptic is the apparent pathway of the sun in the Heavens. The planets and the other luminary moon, follow their own individual tracks which lie along the ecliptic on north and south of it. This width on either side is about 7.5 degree and hence the pathway of the planets is around 15 degree in width, having the ecliptic in its center. This is called Zodiac.
If one observes, it will appear that the whole Zodiac goes round the earth once a day, i.e. once in 24 hours and the same portion of the zodiac raises in the east in 23 hours 56 minutes and few seconds.
As the Zodiac is divided into 12 equal parts called solar mansion (sign or Rashi), each division will be appearing in the east roughly for duration of 2 hours. In other words, the previous sign will appear to rise up in the heavens and the next sign will commence to rise nearly two hours after the previous sign began to rise. Hence the 12 signs rise in the east, roughly at an interval of 2 hours.
The Hindu astrologers have subdivided each sign into two halves and called such a division as a Hora. Hence roughly one hour is needed for each hora to rise in the east or pass through the Meridian. But the Hindu astrologers, in olden days did not calculate the time in hours and minutes. They used to measure in Ghatis and Vighatis. Hence a day is of 60 Ghatis. Hence each sign is approximately 5 Ghatis and half a sign or a hora will be about 2.5 Ghaties.

The divide the interval between the time of sunrise and noon into 6 equal parts and each will be little more or less than an hour depending upon the interval between sunrise and noon, similarly the interval between noon and sunset is into 6 equal parts.
But the order of planet ruling the first hour (a little more or less according to this calculation) is ruled by the lord of day. The other hours are ruled by the other planets in the same order as is followed by the Hindus. Only the duration of each planetary hour division varies.

दशदानहरू गर्नु अल्पायु हुन्छ जिन्दगी-३८
राशिदेखि दशौँ स्थान प्रवेश र्सर्ूयमङ्गल
राजसम्मान पाएर जिन्दगी धन्य बन्दछ-३९
एकादशौँ पापबाट पत्नी बाँझो बनाउँछ
सप्त एकादश गुरुले पक्कै छोरी पाउँछ-४०
एकादशौँ बुधद्वारा पुत्र प्राप्ति छ निश्चय
एकादशौँ र्सर्ूय राहु पुत्र बाधा अवश्य छ-४१
एकादशौँ भएदेखि बुध र्सर्ूय र मङ्गल
पुत्रलाई कष्ट, पीडा पुत्रीमा अग्निको भय-४२
एकादशौँ भएदेखि राहुका साथ मङ्गल
बाधा विपद् औ हानी घरमा अग्निको भय-४३
एका दशौँ राहु साथ युति भो र्सर्ूय भार्गव
पत्नीका साथमा द्वन्द्व मतभेदे ठूलो भय-४४
एकादश हुँदा शुक्र थुन बाँझो गराउँछ
एकादशौँ गुरुबाट दूधालु भैँसी आउँछ-४५
एकादशौँ भए राहु पशु व्यापार लाभ छ
राहुमा र्सर्ूयले देखे घोडा वाहन मिल्दछ-४६
एकादशौँ भएदेखि राहूका साथ भार्गव
राज्यसम्मान सम्पत्ति लाभ हुन्छ अनेकन-४७
द्वादशौँ भावमा जसको शुक्रका साथमा शनि
पानीमा जलयात्रामा होस् राख्नु छ राम्ररी-४८
द्वादशौँ र्सर्ूय आएमा पिताको हानी गर्दछ
अरू पाप भएदेखि श्रेष्ठ पिता विनाश छ-४९
राहुका साथमा शुक्र पुग्दा द्वादश भावमा
छोराछोरी वंश हानी हुन जान्छ विनाशमा-५०
राशिदेखि द्वादशै भो राहुका साथ भाष्कर
पिताजी दाजुका साथ वियोग हुन्छ निश्चय-५१
बुध औ शनि आएर द्वादशौमा निवास भो
छोरीले नाति पाएर हर्षमोदकता भयो-५२
राशिदेखि द्वादशैमा भौमका साथमा शनि
भाञ्जाभाञ्जी जन्मे परिवर्तन जिन्दगी-५३
द्वादशौँ शनिले क्षेत्रीबाट लाभ गराउँछ
द्वादशौँ शुक्रले दिन्छ मानसम्मान उत्तम-५४
द्वादशौँ शुक्रले देखे पशु बाहन पाउँछ
चन्द्रमा शुक्रले देखे पाडो साथै अवश्य छ-५५
द्वादशौँ चन्द्रमा केतु भए वाहन हानी छ
ग्रह राशिअनुसार पशु वाहन रङ छ-५६
दर्ुइ स्वभाव राशि या दर्ुइग्रह निवास छ
बुधको दृष्टि पर्दामा जुम्ल्याहा हुन आउँछ-५७
र्सर्ूय चतुष्पदा राशि द्वि स्वभाव अरू ग्रह
यस्तो योग परेदेखि जुम्ल्याहा हुन सक्दछ-५८
र्सर्ूय त्रिकोण वाशी छ, सप्तम पाप राशि छ
शनिका साथमा भौम पिताजी परदेशमा - ५९
दशम स्थानमा जस्को भौमका साथमा शनि
पितृ वियोग गर्भैमा स्थित प्रज्ञा छ जिन्दगी-६०
निच र्सर्ूय रहेको छ, पापषष्ट र अष्टम
मुद्दामा आहुति हुन्छ पिताको मृत्यु जेलमा-६१
र्सर्ूय औ चन्द्रमा जसको चरराशि छ केन्द्रमा
पितामाताहरू मर्दा कृया गर्दैन लोकमा-६२
दशम स्थानमा र्सर्ूय शनि साथ निवास छ
अवगाल तथा निन्दा पाउनर्ैपर्छ निश्चय-६३
धनेश गुरुका साथ त्रिकोणमा निवास भो
कि भयो मनको लाटो कि लाटो साँच्चिकै भयो-६४
द्वितीय स्थानमा पाप द्वितीयेश छ पापी नै- ६५
षष्टेश गुरुका साथ बुध लग्न निवास छ
यस्तो योग परेदेखि पनि लाटै गराउँछ-६६
चन्द्र औ भौम संयोग भएमा त्रिक स्थानमा
त्यो हुन्छ नेत्रको रोगी अन्धो भै रुन्छ लोकमा-६७
तृतीय स्थानको भौम भगिनी बहुतै हुने
भाइ तीन यदि क्रुर भएमा मृत्यु सम्झनु-६८
पापले युक्त वा दृष्ट भए आफ्ना सहोदर
दिदी र बहिनी सारा बन्ध्या वा बिधवाबुझ-६९
तृतीय स्थान हेरेर कृपणी निर्धनी धनी
यै अनुसारका हुन्छन् कुटुम्भ देवता पनि
विष र्सपहरूद्वारा एक वा दर्ुइ भाइको
भात्रि वा भगिनीलाई दुःख कष्ट पर्‍यो ठूलो-७०
भातृ स्थान बुध भौम भ्रातृ सुख छ दर्ुलभ
गुरु वा चन्द्रले देखे सम्पन्न एक भ्रातर-७१
गुरुका साथ तृतीय भावमा शनिबास छ
अष्टम द्वादश र्सर्ूय पाणी -हात) हीनबनाउँछ-७२
चन्द्र मङ्गलका साथ गुरु सप्तम भावमा
हातविहीन भै नाना चोट लाग्छ शरीरमा-७३
राहु र बुधका साथ दशम स्थानमा शनि
गोडालाई गुमाएर खोरण्डो हुन्छ जिन्दगी-७४
सहज लाभमा पाप कर्ण्र्ााोगी बनाउँछ
धनेश अनि लग्नेश संयोग हड्डी रोगछ-७५
शुक्र भाष्करका साथ लग्नेश र धनेश छ
आँखा देख्दैन दिनमा रात्रिमा मात्र देख्दछ-७६
चन्द्रमा शुक्रका साथ धनेश लग्नवली छ
दृष्टिविहीन राशिमा दिनमा मात्र देख्दछ-७७
द्वादशौँ भावमा जसको भौमका साथमा शनि
यस्तो योग परेदेखि नेत्र रोगी बनाउँछ-७८
र्सर्ूय औ चन्द्रमा मीन राशिमा जो निवास छ
गुरु धनेशका साथ जल पीडा पिताकन-७९
र्सर्ूयको नवम स्थानमा राशिको निवास छ
जेल क्रीडाहरू गर्दा पिता मृत्यु गराउँछ-८०
र्सर्ूयको दृष्टि पुग्दैन चतर्ुथ स्थानमा भने
आफ्नो पैतृक सम्पत्ति भोग गर्न नपाउने-८१
गुरु वा चन्द्रले देखे सम्पन्न एक भ्रातिर-८२
सहजेश बसेको छ निधन कर्म औ व्यय
दाजुभाइ मरेको वा देशान्तर अवश्य छ-८३
भै धन स्थानमा सौम्य राहु सहज स्थानमा
सौम्यको दिव्यदृष्टि छ भने बन्धु हुने त्रय-८४
तृतीय स्थानमा भौम अथवा तृतीया धीश
उच वा नीच घरमा मित्रदृष्टि समागम-८५र्
वर्ग त्रय पति मैत्री स्वगृही छ भने यदि
भ्रातृ संख्या सप्तम वा षष्टको योग बन्दछ-८६
तृतीय स्थानमा र्सर्ूय जेष्ठ भ्राता अवश्य छ
चन्द्र भौम हुँदा भाइको योग हुन्छ निश्चय-८७
क्रुरले युक्त वा दृष्ट भएमा भाइ भ्रातृज
क्वै अन्यत्र गएका छन् भनेर बुझनर्ुपर्दछ-८८
नवम स्थानमा र्सर्ूय स्वगृही यो भने यदि
राज समाज विरकात हुनेछ भाइको स्थिति-८९
बलविहीन भइ सुतेश रहेको कर्मभावमा
गर्भिणी पत्नी मर्नेछ अवश्य नै अकालमा-९०
राहुले युक्त भै भौम भएमा पञ्चमेश्वर
पुत्रको मुख देख्नु नै होला अन्यन्त दर्ुलभ-९१
पञ्चमेश भाइ नीच षष्टद्वादश भै स्थित
छोरो अकालमा मर्छ कि देशान्त गर्दछ-९२
उच वा नीच भै राहु पञ्चम स्थान बास छ
पुत्रको शोकले हुन्छ हाहाकार सधैँभर-९३
सन्तानेश बसेको छ रिपु औँ व्यय भावमा
क्रूरले भई संयुक्त पर्ने नै छ प्रहारमा-९४
सुतेश अस्त वा क्रूर अथवा क्रूर संयुत
पापग्रहअनुसारै जन्मेको जति मर्दछन्-९५
सप्तमेश हुँदा क्रूर वैद्यको योग बन्दछ
सप्तमेश हुँदा पापी पुत्रले हीन बन्दछ-९६
सप्तम स्थानमा सौदि अष्टमै सिहिका सुत
जन्मँदा लगनमा भौम विवाह दाशी पुत्रमा-९७
सुतेश धन भावैमा धनेश सप्तम स्थित
भार्या अवश्य वेश्या र माता छ व्यभिचारिणी-९८
शनिका साथमा चन्द्र भए सप्तम अष्टम
शुद्रका साथमा उसको विवाह हुन्छ निश्चय-९९र्
कर्कट राशि भै लगन भौम शौरिछ संस्थित
जलाचरणमा पत्नी मृत्यु सम्भवना स्वतः-१००
अघिपछि दुवै क्रूर शुक्रका साथ चन्द्रमा
हुन्छ श्रीमतीको मृत्यु कुपमा पर्छ बन्धन-१०१
धनेश र सप्तमैश शुक्र चन्द्र समागम
अथवा द्वादशौँ भाव दुश्चरित्र दुवैजना-१०२
पञ्चमेश छ सातौमा क्रुरले चन्द्र देख्दछ
आफ्नो दशा हुँदा ज्येष्ठापत्नीको नाश गर्दछ-१०३
सप्तम गुरु औ भौम अष्टम स्थानमा शनि
सप्तमेश दशाकाल माहिली नाश गर्दछ-१०४
सप्तम भौम औ चन्द्र अष्टम बुध औ शनि
सप्तमेश दशाकाल समाप्तै पत्नी गर्दछ-१०५
व्ययेश अनि धर्मेश क्रूर वा क्रूर संयुत
भौम वा चन्द्र देख्दैन दारुणै योग बन्दछ-१०६
लगन औ धनमा क्रूर पञ्चम क्रूर संयुत
क्रूरका दृष्टि पर्दैमा पुत्रको नाश गर्दछ-१०७
शनि राहू तथा सौरि मङ्गल पञ्चमस्थित
त्यसको पुत्र जन्मन्न जन्मे तापनि मर्दछ-१०८
छ जे-जे भावको वर्ग त्यैत्यै फल दिलाउँछ
पञ्चमेश दशा चल्दा छोरै जन्मन्छ निश्चय-१०९
भै कन्या राशिको लग्न बुध मन्द भइकन
शनिको क्षेत्रमा शुक्र वर्ीयले हीन जीवन-११०
सप्तमेश मित्रवर्गी मित्रपत्नी समागम
शत्रर्ुवर्ग भएदेखि कलह दिनका दिन-१११
सप्तम भाव शौरि उदाशी हुन्छ त्यो नर
कहल र्सवदा हुन्छ, तुला, वृष गुरूफल-११२
सप्तम स्थानमा सौरि भाष्कर सिंह राशिमा
पत्नी, पुरुषमा हुन्छ शत्रु भाव परस्पर-११३
भै कन्या राशिमा सौम्य सौम्य राशि छ मङ्गल
त्यसका श्रीमती पुत्र भिन्नाभिन्नै निवास छ-११४
बुधका साथमा भौम जहाँ र जहिले पनि
पति र पत्नीमा नित्य शत्रुको भाव ल्याउँछ- ११५
चतर्ुथ भावमा राहु सातौँमा भौम भागर्वत
दशम स्थानमा सौरि पत्नीको नाश गर्दछ-११६
लग्न औ केन्द्रमा पाप भएमा मृत्यु पार्दछ
मातापिता तथा पत्नी स्वदेशमा बर्बादछ-११७
लग्न औ धनमा नीच सप्तम नीच संयुत
शुक्र भौम तथा राहु, भार्याको नाश गर्दछ-११८
राहु शुक्र तथा भौम सप्तम स्थानमा स्थिर
भएमा पत्नीको मृत्यु सातैवटी भए पनि - ११९
सप्तमेश भइर्सर्ूय लग्न औँ अष्टमस्थित
क्रुर ग्रह दृष्टि पर्दा पत्नकिो नाश गर्दछ-१२०
सुख औ धनमा क्रूर यदि छ बलियो भने
आफ्ना क्रुर दशा पर्दा विवाह भङ्ग गर्दछ-१२१
अष्टमेश हुँदा सौतरी मार्याको नाश गर्दछ
सप्तमेश हुँदा भौम जेष्ठ भार्या विनाश छ-१२२
नवमपञ्चम लगन सप्मेश प्रवेश भो
क्रुर ग्रह हुँदा साथ विद्या हानी अवश्य भो-१२३
नवमेश पञ्चमेश लग्न सप्तम स्थानमा
हीनबली शत्रु दृष्ट भए विद्या विनाश छ-१२४
राहु भौम तथा सौरि संगमा नीच र्सर्ूय छ
त्यै ग्रहको दशा पुगदा विद्या हानी अवश्य छ-१२५
अष्टम लगन औ व्यय भावका स्वामी संयुक्त
भै विद्या भावमा हर्ेदा विद्याको नाश गर्दछ-१२६
शनि छ लग्न भावमा शत्रुका क्षेत्रमा भृगु
शनि अन्तर आउँदा शत्रु संकट पर्दछ-१२७
सबै शुभग्रहा षष्ट सप्तम भावमा क्रुर
जेलै क्रूर दशा हुन्छ शत्रु संकट पर्दछ-१२८
भाग्येश अनि लग्नेश दुवै छ नीच राशिमा
आफ्नो दशामा प्रवेशैमा शत्रु संकट पर्दछ-१२९
भाग्येश अष्टम स्थान लग्नेश नीच राशिमा
आफ्ना दशा प्रवेशैमा शत्रु संकट पर्दछ-१३०
द्वितीय अष्टम जस्को नीच लग्न र राशि छ
शत्रुको क्षेत्रमा र्सर्ूय अवश्यै दोष लाग्दछ-१३१
लग्नतर्ुय गुरुदेखि चतर्ुर्थेश छ भार्गव
चन्द्र नीच भएदेखि अवश्यै हानी गर्दछ १३२
नवम पञ्चम स्थान चतर्ुथ भावमा चर
आफ्ना दीनदशा चल्दा घर त्याग गराउँछ-१३३
अल्पजागृत सुसुप्ति मृत्युवस्था हुँदा ग्रह
आफ्ना दीनदशा चलदा घर त्याग गराउँछ-१३४
भाग्येश र चतर्ुर्थेश गुरु वा गुरुमित्र छ
गुरु त्यो स्थानमा देख्छ भने गृह प्रवेश भो-१३५
भाग्येश सुत भावैमा चतर्ुथ चर भो यदि
आफ्ना दीनदशा चलदा घर त्याग्दछ जातक-१३६
गुरु शुक्र दुवैबाट चतर्ुथ चर राशिछ
चतर्ुथ चर राशि छ भने घर प्रवेश छ-१३७
चतर्ुथ स्थानमा क्रुर ग्रह बस्छ जहाँतक
व्यय षष्टेशले युक्त अग्निले घर नाश छ-१३८
चतर्ुथ राहु सौर्रार्क षष्ट चन्द्र कुज बुध
शुक्रले यदि देख्दैन भने घर विनाश छ-१३९
चतर्ुर्थेश पञ्चमेश चन्द्रदेखि चतर्ुथ छ
व्यय षष्टेशले युक्त हुँदा घर विनाश छ-१४०
चतर्ुथ स्थानमा र्सर्ूय भौम औ राहु साथ छ
व्ययले गृह हर्ेर्दैछ शुक्र वा शनि साथ छ
आफ्ना दिनदशा पर्दा घरमा बज्र पर्दछ-१४१
भै रिपु स्थानमा चन्द्र र चतर्ुथ शनिश्चर
लग्नेश सप्तम स्थान घरनाश अवश्य छ-१४२
शुक्र चन्द्र चतर्ुर्थेश संयुक्त व्यय भावमा
भौम नीच त्यही राहुको क्रुर दृष्टि पर्दछ
राहु भौम दशा पर्दा अवश्यै घर जल्दछ-१४३
भौमसौरि द्विस्वाभावी चतर्ुथ नीचराशि छ
शुक्र अन्तै भएदेखि भूकम्पबाट पीडित-१४४
र्सर्ूय धर्म तथा पिता भावनमा माता चतर्ुथ राशि
भाइबहिनी घरकुजश्च शशिको छेठौँ रिपुको घर
सन्तानै गुरु पञ्चमै घर तथा जाया घर सप्तम
आठौँ र्सर्ूय सुत निवाश भव नै होरासँगै जानून-१४५
श्री र्सर्ूयदेखि नवचन्द्रमा छ, पिताजीको मृत्यु जलै हुनेछ
श्री भौमका साथ शनि चतर्ुथ
हुँदा अवश्यै दुःख पाउनेछ-१४६
दर्ुइ द्वादशले माता चतर्ुथ दशम पिता
चतर्ुथ पापले माता दशम पापले पिता-१४७
चन्द्रात् चतर्ुथले माता भौमात् तृतीय भ्रातर
भै कर्म स्थानमा नीच क्रूर वा क्रूर संयुत
पिताको मृत्यु औ पुत्र जन्मेका घर त्याग्दछ-१४८
चतर्ुथ अस्त जस्को छ देखिन्न पर्ूण्ा दृष्टिले
घरमा झगडा हुन्छ देशान्तर छ उत्तम-१४९
राहुयुक्त घरा पुत्र बुधले जब देख्दछ
सानीआमा तथा पत्नी मृत्यु भै देश त्याग्दछ-१५०
रविराहु भौम शनि पञ्चम स्थान भो यदि
पितामातासहित भै आफ्ना नाश गराउँछ-१५१
व्ययेश क्रुरले युक्त अथवा क्रुर देख्दछ
नीच राशि परेको वा शत्रुको क्षेत्र बास छ-१५२
राहु र भौमका साथ छ नीच राशिमा स्थित
दाजुभाइ पिताजीको चित्त दग्ध गराउँछ-१५३
द्वितीय द्वादशा साथै चतर्ुथ दशम स्थित
क्रुर ग्रह बसेको वा क्रुरको दृष्टि पर्दछ
त्यो क्रुर ग्रहले ज्यादै क्रुर मृत्यु गराउँछ-१५४
नवम पञ्चम साथै चतर्ुथ शत्रु भावमा
क्रुरको युति वा दृष्टि भएमा क्रुर मृत्युछ-१५५
लग्न पञ्चम वा सप्त नीच भै ग्रह बस्दछ
त्यो नीच ग्रहको योग अपमृत्यु गराउँछ-१५६
अष्टमेश सप्तमेश नवम् द्वादशस्थित
मृत्यु पर्यन्त उसको उल्टो बुद्धि गराउँछ- १५७
शुक्र चन्द्र तथा र्सर्ूय छ एकै रशिमा भने
त्यो विपरति मर्ूर्तिले विपरीतै गराउँछ-१५८
गुरुजी जल राशिमा शशि भार्गवका सँग
शनिले र्सर्ूय देखेमा जलमा मृत्यु गर्दछ-१५९
बुध चन्द्र तथा र्सर्ूय ग्रहमा राहु भौमको
शनि वा भौमको दृष्टि परेमा जल मृत्यु भो-१६०
राहु र शनिका साथ र्सर्ूय औ बुध योग भो
त्यसमा चन्द्रको दृष्टि परेमा बज्र वषिर्यो-१६१
लगन औ धनमा अष्ट स्थान औ लाभ स्थानमा
नीच ग्रह हुँदा वाथ रोगी भिक्षुक बन्दछ-१६२
भाग्य औ लग्नमा नीच कोषमा नीच औ क्रुर
क्रुरको दृष्टि पर्दामा धन हीन गराउँछ-१६३
शुक्रदेखि सप्तम वा दशम लाभ स्थानमा
द्वितीय नवम् शुक्रग्रह लाभ दिलाउँछ-१६४
गुरु बुध शशिबाट जे-जे फल दिलाउँछ
क्रुर वा क्रुरको दृष्टि परेमा हानी गर्दछ-१६५
क्रुर ग्रह पनि उच्च अथवा मित्रको घर
मित्रको दृष्टि पर्दामा र्सवदा लाभ गर्दछ-१६६
शनि भौम तथा र्सर्ूय त्यो स्थानमा त्यसैगरी
नीचऔ क्रुरले हर्ेदा हानी बन्धन पार्दछ-१६७
धनेश नीच जसको छ देख्दैन धनभावमा
धर्मेश शत्रुभावैमा भाग्यहीन गराउँछ-१६७
लग्न धन तथा लाभ अष्टम नीचले युत
अठ्ठाइस् वर्षभत्रैमा योगी बन्दछ निश्चय-१६८
हीन बलीग्रह वक्र अथवा अस्त भो भने
आफ्ना दीनदशाबाट दुःख औ क्लेश पार्दछ-१६९
लाभ स्थान बसेकाले राज्यलाभ गराउँछ
र्सर्ूय, चन्द्र तथा भौम राज्य लाभ दिलाउँछ-१७०
र्सर्ूय केन्द्री राजसेवी व्यापारी केन्द्र चन्द्रमा
भौमले शस्त्र वृद्धि र ऊ अद्यापक बुध केन्द्रमा-१७१
गुरु केन्द्रबाट निष्ठा विद्या सम्पन्न शुक्रले
नीच सेवा चन्द्रबाट व्यापार बुध शुक्रले -१७२
र्सर्ूयले नृपति शशि कृषि बल बन्धु बीज गोरस
भौमैले भूमि वाहनै पशुप्रधा धान्यादि देला बुध
विद्या औ सत्य निष्ठ सखी तनप तथा धर्मवेत्ता गुरुले
अश्वस्त्री रौप्य शुक्रे महिष अनि फलाम नोकरीमा शनिले -१७३
राहुले भौम देखेमा भौमबाट शनिश्चर
बेग्लाबेग्लै ग्रह तथा दृष्टिनुसारकै फल -१७४
शनि अस्त हुँदा मृत्यु र्सर्ूय सप्तम औँ व्यय
लगन अष्टममा चन्द्र अथवा शुक्र अष्टम-१७५
र्सर्ूयदेखि सप्तम औ अष्टम व्यय भावमा
गुरु अस्त हुँदा मृत्यु हुन्छ सम्भावना सदा-१७६
द्वितीय द्वादशौभाव राशि वा जन्म लग्नको
आफ्ना दीन दशाचलदा हुँदैन कहिल्यै भलो- १७७
सप्तम स्थानमा र्सर्ूय, चन्द्र, राहु, शनिश्चर
गुरुजी पापीको साथ अल्पायु हुन आउँछ- १७८
चतर्ुथ स्थानमा राहु पापीकासँग बस्दछ
लग्नेश र द्वादशेश अष्टम भावमा स्थित
चन्द्र र गुरु देख्दैन अल्पमृत्यु गराउँछ- १७९
छ, आठौँ स्थानमा चन्द व्यये शुक्र शनिश्चर
चतर्ुथ स्थानमा राहु शीघ्र मृत्यु दिलाउँछ १८०
जसको लगनमा राहु षष्टाष्ट चन्द्रमा भृगु
मृगी रोगी सदा हुन्छ यसमा छैन संशय- १८१
जसको लगनमा शुक्र धन औ व्यय भावमा
कानको रोगले त्यसको दिक्क बन्दछ जीवन - १८२
र्सर्ूय औ शनिले युक्त लग्न मकर भो भने
आफ्ना दीनदशा लाग्दा श्वासकाश गराउँछ- १८३
वृषकन्या तथा सिंह, कर्कटै राहु बास छ
विपुल धन पाएर राजा वा मन्त्री बन्दछ- १८४
बस मोटर औ नौका पण्डित पृथिवी पति
लग्नमा राहु जसको त्यो हुन्छ कुल दिपक- १८५
स्वगृही गुरु वा चन्द्र, उच्च भै लगनमा बसे

The Law of karma

Time is a primary factor. Vishnu Puran says Law of Karma is so powerful that living beings have no emancipation from the rigours of law of karma even after destruction of the world. When creator Brahma starts recreation of the world after destruction, living beings are reborn in accordance with there previous karma.
Vishnu Puran has laid stress on law of karma but it has at the same time given Samkhya explanation of the phenomenon also in sloka 65.
Vedatha Darsan chapter 4 1st pada, sutra 15 emphasises that one has to be reborn till effects of one’s Prarabdha Karma are not fully exhausted.
In Prasnopanishad, Prashna 6 Sristikarma, it is said that matters and bodies are created for bearing the fruits of karma.
It further sys that the universe itself in the result of karma.
Lord Krishna gives a different explanation in Bhagwat Geeta. He says should I not engage in performing deeds, great harm will come to the world as people may follow May way of inaction. If I cease to act, these worlds will perish; nay I may prove to be the cause of confusion and of the destruction of these people. (Chapter 3)Lord Krishna gives an equal weightage to samkhya view when he says that all our deeds are performed by the modes of primordial matter.
Also he says all living creatures follow their tendencies. Even the wise moon acts according to the tendencies of his own nature of what use is my external restraint.
In Chapter 5 of Bhagawat Geeta Lord Krishna says that god determines neither the doer ship not the doings of men, or even their contact with the fruits of action but it is Nature along that functions.
When parasr says the Supreme lord itself has incarnated as the nine planets to bestow on the living beings, the result of their previous deeds or also when Parasar says that Jeevatma portions from the planets take births as human beings and live their lives according to their karmas and again merge into the planets, it is a clear hint that the supreme beings enforces law of karma through nature in a natural way and not min any supernatural manner s we mortals ordinarily do believe. Like Bhagwat Geeta astrology too has its deeps roots in Vedanta and Samkhya schools of Philosophy.
Praising the Law of Karma, Vishnu Puran says that we are all born due to operation of the law of karma. Karma gives us result as per merits and demerits of our deeds. We therefore, must Endeavour to perform righteous and virtuous deeds.

Use of vastu Shastra was a wide spread practice in Nepalese culture. The Temples,Mathas,Chowks etc found in Nepal, especially within Katmandu Valley, Which are estabilished in various periods of Nepalese history. These are prime examples of use of vastu in Nepal.
Another Typical example of vastu being practiced in Nepal which is not obvious to general public is the use of Shagun. Shagun is a very important and symbolic practice in Newari culture, which has been practiced since ancient times. Shgagun is given to a person to consume when these things are going well e.g. promotion at work etc to wish them further success. Shagun is also given when things are not going well for a person e.g. after accident etc.it is believed that things don’t go well, When five elements of nature are not in harmony.As people are generally not aware of which elements out of five are causing this disharmony. It is believed that all the five elements are included is Shagun to cover all the grounds.The basic idea is that when a person consumes Shagun is balances all the five elements that are required for a successful healthy and happy life.

Introduction
Ancient astrologer thinkers have used various methods to read the future of Man and its surroundings. Natal charts, various Dasha systems, Transit and Tajik are some of the most popular ones amongst them. Their judicious use helps modern astrologers read the Horoscopes pretty accurately. Preparing and reading a country's Horoscope is naturally different and complicated; and hence obviously some other way must be found out for the purpose of reading a nation's state of affairs and future. Construction of various charkas e.g. Kot chakras and Kurma Chakras and their interpretations are some of these methods. In fact, the ancient treatise "Narapatijayacharya" by Narapati has mentioned 84 such charkas. B L Thakur has also shown such a chakra in the fifth part (Prashna Khanda) of his popular series of books on Astrology.

These chakras have been successfully used by many astrologers in the past for predicting the nation's state of affairs. For this, Kot chakra has to be constructed first.
Construction of Kot Chakra
To construct a Kot Chakra, a set of four squares of different sizes are drawn one top of the other (see the sketch). The smallest square in the innermost side is a very important one and is known as the Garbha or the Sanctum of the Chakra. 28 points are then identified to represent 28 Nakshatras including Abhijit in different directions. There are 8 points in three inner squares and only four points in the outermost square. Four cardinal directions are also assigned.
To know the state of affairs of a nation, Kot Chakra of that nation has to be first constructed. The beginning point is always at the northeast corner of the second outermost square, marked by 1 in the sketch. It is the Nakshatra of the nation or the subject concerned, for example Anuradha for Nepal. Thereafter other subsequent Nakshatras are written in the squares in cyclic order clockwise as shownby the arrows in the sketch.
After the construction of the chakra, one has to look at the local panchanga and find out where (in which Nakshatra) various planets are currently situated and noted in a note book. These planets are then entered in the Kot chakra at appropriate places according to their current positions.
Results of planets at various points depend upon their nature. Benefic planets like Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and waxing Moon give good results if they occupy the innermost square (Garbha). They can give less and less benefits if they occupy position in outer squares. Exactly opposite is true in the case of naturally malefic planets viz. Sun, Mars, Saturn and the waning Moon. Sun signifies the ruler, Moon the general public, Mars the military and violence, Mercury the authors, Jupiter the Judiciary and the reason or the logic. Venus signifies the Arts & entertainment sector and Saturn the labour force and the older generation.
Interpretation of the Chakra
It is better to try to interpret the state by studying the cumulative effects of all the planets. Nevertheless, probably most important among planets are Jupiter and Mars; one signifying the logic/reason and Justice while the other signifying the violence and disarray. If Mars and other malefic planets occupy the sanctum while the benefic planets like Jupiter stay outside it, there is likelihood of confusion and violence in the country. This continues till some sober planet makes an entry to the inner square. Similarly if only benefic planets occupy the inner sanctum while the malefic ones stay outside, there will be peace and progress in the nation. Mixed combination of benefic and malefic planets will give rise to mixed results.
Use of Kot Chakra
Kot chakra has many uses. We try to take two cases and see the effectiveness of its utility. First let us take the case of the period of Chaitra 2062 when Nepal was undergoing far-reaching changes. Whole Kathmandu Valley was witnessing waves and waves of demonstrators and the entire core of Kathmandu and Lalitpur was encircled by the sea mass of people occupying the entire 26 kilometer stretch of ring road. If we look at the state of Nepal's Kot chakra at that time, we will see the following. On 12th of Chaitra the Sun was in Uttarabhadrapad Nakshatra (innermost core), Mars has just on that day entered Mrigashira (innermost core) while Jupiter was in Vishakha (outermost ring) and Venus was in Dhanishta (outer ring), thus outside the all important sactum or the Garbha. Entry of Mars gave rise to sudden increase in violence. On 23rd of Chaitra Mars entered Mithun rashi, 8th in transit from Nepal's rashi. No wonder, all these brought lot of violence in Nepal.
Mars remained inside the Garbha till 26th of Baisakh 2063, when it moved to Punarbasu. Some sense of calmness was then restored. Mars moved out of Mithun rashi on12th of Jeshtha.
Now let us consider the present period. On 1st of Baisakh 2066, the Sun will be in Ashwini (outside Garbha), Mars in Purbabhadrapad (inside Garbha), Mercury in Bharini (outside), Jupiter in Dhanista (outside), Venus in Purbabhadrapad (inside)and Saturn in Purbaphalguni (outside). Mars the planet of valour and violence (remaining inside Garbha and Jupiter, the planet of reason and wisdom, remaining in the outside ring is still a dangerous state. And moreover in Gochar, Mars is presently in the fourth place.
Situation is expected to get a bit better only after 26th of Baisakh 2066, when Mars will enter Revati Nakshatra and thus move out of Garbha of Nepal Kot Chakra. However the real sense of reason and wisdom will be felt only when the great Jupiter reenters the inner sanctum (Garbha). This is to happen only on 1st of Chaitra 2066 when Jupiter enters Purbabhadrapad Nakshatra. It thus indicates that Nepalese will have to wait till almost the end of the year before they could breathe more easily.
Study of Kot chakras could also be used for other purposes, like knowing the comparative strengths of two or more rivals. B L Thakur in his book has also dealt with the terminologies like Durg, Durgpati, Yaayis, Durgbhang, Durgakhanda and Sandhi also depending upon the positions of the planets.
Kot Chakras had been used in the past. We can find its frequent mention in old documents. Whenever some political upheavals or national disasters took place the then rulers had consulted the astrologers and they themselves had used this system quite often with a great degree of accuracy. The author had stumbled upon a paper where his grandfather had tried to predict the outcome of the then ongoing Second World War.

धर्मको स्वरूप
व्यक्ति वा वस्तुको अभिन्न स्वभावलाई धर्म भनिन्छ । अर्थात् गुन गुण वा विशेषताले कसैको पनि सत्ता वा अस्तित्व कायम राख्दछ त्यही धर्म हो । जस्तै र्सर्ूयमा रहने ताप र प्रकाश उसको धर्म हो भने भिजाउने धर्म पानीको हो । मानवको सर्न्दर्भमा क्षमा, दया, प्रेम, सेवा, अनुशासन सद्भावना जस्ता सदाचार र सद्व्यवहारलाई धर्म भन्न सकिन्छ । त्यसैले समाज र राष्ट्रलाई उँभो लगाउनका साथै व्यक्तिविशेषको बौद्धिक आत्मिक उन्नति र शुद्धिकरणका लागि धर्म अपरिहार्य हुन्छ । धर्मले परस्परमा मेल र मित्रता बढाउँछ । त्यसैले एकातिर 'धारणा धर्ममित्याहु' भन्ने गरिन्छ भने "धर्म एव हतो हन्ति धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः" अर्थात धर्मको नाश भयो भने हाम्रो नाश हुन्छ, धर्मको रक्षा गरियो भने हाम्रो पनि रक्षा हुन्छ, भन्ने भनाई प्रचलति हुँदै आएको छ । जसबाट यस लोकमा उन्नति र परलोकमा कल्याण हुन्छ त्यही धर्म हो भन्ने विचार धेरैले गरेका छन् । वास्तवमा धर्म बिना मानिसको जीवन र्व्यर्थ हुन्छ किनभने उसले आफ्नो व्यक्तिगत, पारिवारिक, सामाजिक र राष्ट्रिय जिम्मेवारी यथार्थतः धर्मको पालन न गरी हुँदैन । अत एव 'धर्मेन हीना ः पशुभिः समानाः' अर्थात धर्म नभएकाहरू पशुसरह हुन्छन्, भनिएको हो । तर्सथ अत्यन्त महत्वका साथ धर्मको मर्म बुझ्नु र धार्मिक आचरण पालन गर्नु प्रत्येक सचेत व्यक्तिको कर्तव्य हो । धर्मको पालनलाई हामीले महत्व दियौं भने स्वयं भगवान्ले पनि हामीलाई मद्दत गर्नुहुन्छ । त्यसैले उहाँ भन्नुहुन्छ - "धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ।" अर्थात् धर्मको स्थापना गर्न म युग युगमा प्रकट हुन्छु ।
सनातन धर्म
सँधै रहनेलाई सनातन भन्दछन् । सनातन धर्म संसारमा एउटै मात्र छ - त्यो हो हाम्रो धर्म । जसको न आदि छ, न अन्त त्यही हो सनातन धर्म । यो र्सवमान्य हो कि सनातन धर्मबाहेकका अरु धर्म मानवसभ्यताको विकासका क्रममा धेरै पछि मात्र पैदा भएका हुन् । जसको इतिहास ज्यादै छोटो छ अर्थात् सनातन धर्म बाहेकका अरु धर्मको परम्परा थालिएको ३ हजार वर्षपनि पुगेको छैन । ती सबै धर्ममा सनातन धर्मको प्रशस्त प्रभाव परेको छ । सनातन धर्मलाई वैदिक सनातन धर्म पनि भन्ने गरिएको पाइन्छ । किनभने यस धर्मको मूल आधार वेद हो ।
सनातन धर्म अत्यन्त उदार र परिष्कृत धर्म हो । यो एउटा जीवन पद्धति हो जसमा आफ्नो रूची र खाँचो अनुुसार उपासना, आराधना वा आचरण गर्ने स्वतन्त्रता छ । यसमा ३३ करोड देवताको मान्यता स्थापित छ । यसको तार्त्पर्य के हो भने कुनै पनि स्वरूप, आकार, प्रकार, विचार र मान्यता ग्रहण गर्ने छुट सनातन धर्मले दिएको छ । त्यसैले खास कुनै पद्धति नै मान्नुपर्ने बाध्यता यसमा छैन ।
मानवतावादमा आधारित भएकाले सनातन धर्ममा कुनै भेदभाव छैन । र्सवत्र समानता छ । हो, कार्यका विभाजनले झट्ट हर्ेदा वर्ण्र्ाा वर्गमा केही विभाजन देखिन्छ, त्यो सतही हो, यथार्थ होइन । गहिरिएर हर्ेर्ने हो भने सनातन धर्म नै त्यस्तो समग्र चिन्तनको धर्म हो जसले अनेकतामा एकताको मान्यता स्थापित गरेको छ । यस दृष्टिले हर्ेदा अरु धर्म त एक सम्प्रदाय मात्र हुन् । त्यस्ता सम्प्रदाय सनातन धर्मभित्र नै अनेकौं छन् । माथिको भनाइलाई यस उक्तिले सहजै पुष्टि गर्दछ ।
धृतिः क्षमा दमो˜स्तेयं सौचमिन्द्रियन्रि्रहः
धर्ीर्विद्या सत्यमक्रोधो दशकं धर्म लक्षणं (मनु ।
अर्थात धर्ैय गर्नु, क्षमा गर्नु, संयम रहनु, इन्द्रिय नियन्त्रण गर्नु, चोरी नगर्नु, पवित्र रहन,ु सुझबुझ राख्नु, विद्या हासिल गर्नु, साँचो व्यवहार गर्नु, क्रोध नगर्नु, यी दशवटा धर्मका लक्षण हुन । यी यस्ता शाश्वत आचार विचारका आदर्श हुन् जो कुनै जातजाति, वर्ग क्षेत्र, रीति संस्कृतिको घेरामा नरही र्सवत्र र्सवदा ग्राहृय छन् । यसबाट धर्म नित्य छ र यसको मूल स्रोत वेद हो भन्ने स्पष्ट हुन्छ । जहाँसम्म हिन्दुत्वको कुरा छ, यसले धर्मका साथै संस्कृतिको परिवेशलाई आत्मसात् गरेको छ ।
धेरै विद्वानहरूले सिन्धु नदी सँग गाँसेर हिन्दु शब्दको निर्माण भएको बताएका छन् । पहिले फारसी भाषामा 'स' को उच्चारण 'ह' गरिन्थ्यो । कर्ण्ााली क्षेत्रमा नेपाली भाषामै पनि 'स' को सट्टा 'ह' प्रयोग गर्ने चलन हाल पनि जीवितै छ । सिन्धुसभ्यता प्राचीन विकसित सभ्यता मानिन्छ भने त्यसैको सम्बन्धबाट हिन्दु जाति र हिन्दु धर्मको विस्तार हुँदै गएको मान्नु स्वभाविक पनि मान्न सकिन्छ । र्
वर्तमान सभ्यतामा हिन्दुको परिचय दिने क्रममा çकारलाई मुल मन्त्र मान्ने, पर्ुनर्जन्ममा विचार गर्ने गोभक्त गुरु र शास्त्रमा आस्था राख्ने र हिंसादेखि दूर रहनेलाई हिन्दु भन्ने गरिएको छ । यस मान्यतालाई धेरै धार्मिक व्यक्ति र संस्थाहरूले अङ्गीकार गरेका छन् । यसप्रकार सनातन धर्म वा हिन्दु धर्म जे भने पनि "नाममात्रे विवादः" भने झैं यथार्थमा भेद गरिरहनु पर्ने विषय यो होइन । सबै धर्मप्रेमी, न्यायप्रेमी र राष्ट्रप्रेमीहरूले यो मर्म बुझेर धर्मअनुकूल कर्म गर्नु र सकेसम्म धर्मको जागरणमा जागरुक रहनु अति आवश्यक भएको छ ।

Remove the stone slab the next day at sunrise and observe. If there is no water left and it is observed that the pit is dried and cracked the plot is unworthy for construction of any building. If water is retained the plot is ideal for construction ( the more water retained the better).

As above dig pit a of one cubic foot and fill the same pit with the soil so removed. If some soil is left over it shows that the plot is very good for construction. if no soil is left over but the pit is full the plot is just moderate for construction. If the pit is still not full filled it shows that the plot is totally unworthy of any construction.

The longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century is to take place on 22 July 2009.Until 13 June 2132,there will no other eclipse to rival its duration.It will last 6 minutes and 39 seconds,and it will reach its maximum phase at 02:35:21 UTC, some 100 km south of the Bonin Islands to the southeast of Japan.
A partial eclipse will be seen from the much broader path of the Moon's penumbra,including most of South East Asia and north-eastern Oceania.

नयाँ नेपालमा नेपाल नै प्रधानमन्त्री भएका छन् । हो, माधवकुमार नेपालले गणतान्त्रिक नेपालका दोस्रो प्रधानमन्त्रीको रूपमा वि. सं. २०६६ साल जेठ ११ गते सोमबार बिहान ११ बजेर ५ मिनेटमा सपथग्रहण गर्नुभएको छ । उक्त समयमा काठमाडौ ँको पर्ूर्वीय क्षितिजमा कर्कट लग्नको मीन नवमांश उदाइरहेको थियो । कर्कट लग्न आफैँमा चर लग्न हो अर्थात् यस लग्नमा गरिएका कुनै पनि कामहरू चिरस्थायी नहुने मुहर्ू ज्योतिषमा व्याख्या गरिएको पाइन्छ । यसको आधारमा ज्यो तिर्विज्ञानअनु सार नेपालको मन्त्रिमण्डल आफ्नो काल पूरा गर्न नपाउँदै बीचमा नै विघटन हुन जाने देखिन्छ । त्यसैगरी, शिरमा केतु बस्नु पनि ज्योतिर्विज्ञान शिर छेद्न हुने जनाउँदछ अर्थात् नेपालको

( ज्यो. रामानन्द शर्मा) नवनियुक्त प्रधानमन्त्री माधवकुमार नेपालले संविधानसभामा बहुमत पुर्याउँदाको दिन यही ९ गते शनिबार महिनाभरिकै सबभन्दा नराम्रो दिन कृष्णपक्षको चतुदशी परेकाले वर्तमान सरकारका लागि त्यति अनुकूल देखिँदैन।

उहाँले प्रधानमन्त्री पदको शपथ गर्दाको सोमबार बिहान ११ बजेर ८ मिनेटको समय पनि लग्नको हिसाबले निकै कमजोर मानिन्छ। जबकि ११ बजेर ७ मिनेटसम्म कर्कट लग्न र त्यसपछि सिंह लग्न शुरू भएको थियो।

भूमि प्राप्ति अनुष्ठान
यदि कसैले प्रयास गर्दा एवं अर्थ हुँदाहुँदै पनि मनोनुकूल भूमि पाइरहेको छैन भने भगवान् वराहको पूजा अराधना गर्नुपर्दछ । भगवान् वराहको उपासना स्तुति पर््रार्थना एवं मन्त्र जप गर्नाले अवश्य नै निवासको लागि शुभ भूमि मिल्नेछ । स्कन्दपुराण वैष्णवखण्डमा बताइएअनुसार भूमिको इच्छा राख्ने व्यक्तिले निम्न मन्त्र सदैव जप गर्नुपर्दछ । यसो गर्नाले मनोनुकूल भूमि प्राप्त हुनेछ । मन्त्र यस प्रकारको छ । "ç नमः श्रीवराहाय धरयुद्धारणाय स्वाहा", यस मन्त्रको चार लाख जप एवं घ्यू र मह मिश्रति खिरले हवन गर्नुपर्दछ ।

धर्मको आवश्यकता र महत्त्वका विषयमा स्वाद्ध्यायशालाबाट प्रकाशित वैदिक धर्म मूल रूपमा -२०४५) भन्ने ग्रन्थका प्रमुख आधारबाट संक्षेपमा तल केही लेखिन्छ । मानिसहरु जन्मैदेखि प्रायः बहिर्मुखी हुने हुनाले इन्द्रियहरुका शब्द, र्स्पर्श, रूप, रस, गन्ध विषयहरुमा आकृष्ट हुन्छन् । कोही-कोही धीर व्यक्ति मात्रै आप\mनो दृष्टिलाई अन्तर्मुखी बनाएर अमरता प्राप्त गर्न आत्मस्वरूपको विचार गर्नतिर लाग्छन् । मानवको यस प्रकारको सहज प्रवृत्तिले गर्दा आप\mनो हृदयलाई सुसंस्कृत गर्न नसकेका व्यक्तिहरु आफू जनबल, धनबल, शरीरबल इत्यादिले सम्पन्न हुँदा असहाय, निर्धन, दर्ुबल, सोजा र निमुखा मान्छेहरुलाई पिर्ने, लुट्ने, दबाउने, सताउने, तर्सर्ााे इत्यादि गरी आप\mना न्याय्य-अन्याय्य सबै इच्छा पर्ूण्ा गर्ने प्रयास गर्छन् । साथै आफू त्यति धेरै सबल नभए तापनि कतिपय अपराधी स्वभावका व्यक्तिहरु पनि नाना प्रकारले सज्जनलाई दुःख दिने गर्छन् । यस्तो प्रवृत्तिले मान्छेको व्यक्तिगत, कौटुम्बिक, सामाजिक र राष्ट्रिय जीवन-यात्रामा धेरै बाधा-व्यवधान ल्याउँछ र उन्नतिका मार्गमा विभिन्न प्रकारले अवरोध खडा गर्दछ ।
मानिसका उक्त प्रकारका सहज दुष्प्रवृत्तिबाट व्यक्ति, कुटुम्ब, समाज र राष्ट्रलाई जोगाउन राष्ट्रमा दण्डको र दण्डधारी व्यक्तिको पनि व्यवस्था गरिन्छ । तर ती दुवै मान्छेका हृदयमा गहिरो प्रभाव पार्न प्रायः अर्समर्थ देखिन्छन् । तर्सथ टाठाबाठाहरु र धनि-बलीहरु दण्डलाई छलेर नाना प्रकारका अपराध गर्छन् । सामाजिक असम्मतिले पनि मान्छेको त्यस प्रकारको दुष्प्रवृत्तिमा केही रोक लगाउने गर्छ । तर त्यो पनि त्यस दुष्प्रवृत्तिको मूल जरो उखेल्न र्समर्थ हुँदैन । त्यसैले दर्ुजनहरु समाजका आँखा छलेर गम्भीर अपराध पनि गर्ने गर्छन् । धर्मविचार नै एउटा यस्तो कुरो हो, जसले मान्छेका हृदयभित्र पसेर उक्त दुष्प्रवृत्तिको जरै उखेल्न सक्छ । त्यसैले शास्त्रमा परस्परको भयले र राजदण्डको भयले मात्र पापको वा दुष्प्रवृत्तिको र्सवांशमा नियन्त्रण हुन नसक्ने र त्यसका लागि यमराजको दण्डको पनि आवश्यकता पर्ने कुरा देखाइएको छ । जस्तै(
राजदण्डभयादेके पापाः पापं न कर्ुवते ।
यमदण्डभयादेके परलोकभयादपि ।।
परस्परभयादेके पापाः पापं न कर्ुवते ।

मनुस्मृतिमा मान्छेलाई आत्मविचारतिर उन्मुख गराएर पाप वा दुष्प्रवृत्तिबाट निवृत्त हुन सचेत गराइएको छ -८।८४,९१,९६) । यस प्रकार पापबाट वा दुष्प्रवृत्तिबाट बच्न प्रत्येक मान्छेलाई आफै सावधान हुन प्रेरणा गर्ने तत्त्व धर्मविचार नै हो भन्ने कुरा स्पष्ट हुन्छ । निर्दलतावादी, साम्यवादी, समाजवादी, लोकतन्त्रवादी इत्यादि नाना प्रकारका राष्ट्रनीतिसम्बन्धी आदर्शका पक्षधरसमेत समाजका सबै नै सदस्यका लागि कर्तव्य र अकर्तव्यको एउटा भरपर्दो मर्यादाको रेखा आवश्यक हुन्छ, त्यो नभै वास्तविक राष्ट्रिय उन्नति र सुखशान्ति हुन सक्दैन, "जतिञ्जेल बाँचिन्छ सुखैसित बाँच्नपर्छ, ढाँटिछली रिनसिन गरेर भए पनि घिउ नै खानपर्छ, ढाँटछल गरेको पापको फल अर्का जुनीमा पाइन्छ र अहिले खाएको रिन अर्का जुनीमा तिर्नपर्छ भन्ने कुरा हुन सक्दैन, मरेपछि पोलेर खरानी पारिएको शरीर फेरि कहाँबाट खडा भएर आउँछ र-"
यावज् जीवेत् सुखं जीवेदृणं कृत्वा घृतं पिबेत् ।

भन्ने नास्तिकचार्वाकसिद्धान्तका आधारमा सामाजिक न्यायको र सुखशान्तिको वातावरण स्थापित हुन सक्दैन । राष्ट्रनीतिसम्बन्धी विविध प्रकारका आस्था भएका सबै नै लोकहितैषी युवक र प्रौढहरुले आप\mनै मन, वचन र कर्मलाई सन्मार्गमा नलगाई आफू, कुटुम्ब, समाज, राष्ट्र र विश्वलाई वास्तविक रूपमा उँभो लगाउन ठूलो काम केही पनि गर्न सकिँदैन भन्ने कुरा वारंवार सम्झनु आवश्यक देखिन्छ र उनीहरुले आप\mना मन, वचन र कर्मलाई सन्मार्गमा लगाउन धर्मविचार गर्नु परमावश्यक छ भन्ने बुझनपर्छ ।
यसरी मानवको व्यक्तिगत, कौटुम्बिक, सामाजिक, राष्ट्रिय र र्सार्वभौम न्याय्य जीवनयात्रालाई समुचित रूपमा चलाउनमा वास्तविक धर्मभावनाको ठूलो स्थान देखिन्छ । त्यति मात्र हैन, मानिसका वशमा नभएका बुढयाइँ, रोग, मृत्यु, प्रियवियोग, घर-खेत-धनको नाश इत्यादि अनिष्ट विषयबाट हुने दुःख र शोकका समयमा र प्रियसंयोग, धनलाभ, बललाभ इत्यादि इष्ट विषयबाट हुने हर्षर समृद्धिका समयमा पनि मानिसको हृदयलाई न्याय्य मार्गमा चल्न तथा शान्तिपर्ूण्ा र सन्तुलित जीवनयात्रा चलाउन प्रेरित गर्ने तथा दृढ सहायता दिने तत्त्वका रूपमा पनि धर्मविचारको स्थान ठूलो देखिन्छ । धर्म दर्ुबलहरुको ठूलो बल हो र निरुपाय दुःखित-पीडितहरुको धर्ैय धारण गरेर बाँच्ने आधार पनि हो । त्यसैले शास्त्रमा धर्मको महिमा धेरै गाइएको छ ।
मान्छेलाई व्यवस्थित र सन्तुलित रूपमा अर्थ, काम र मोक्ष तीनै पुरुषार्थ प्राप्त गर्न र्समर्थ गराउनु नै धर्मविचारको मूल प्रयोजन हो भन्ने कुरा ऋषि-मुनिले भनेर गएका छन् । जस्तै(
धर्मात् सञ्जायते ह्यर्थो धर्मात् कामो˜भिजायते ।
धर्मादेवा˜पवर्गश्च तस्माद् धर्मं समाश्रयेत् ।।
( कर्ूमपुराण १।२।५४,५५ ।
महाभारतकारले पनि "धर्मबाट मोक्षरूप परमपुरुषार्थ त प्राप्त हुन्छ-हुन्छ, साधारण लौकिक व्यक्तिहरुले प्राप्त गर्न अत्यन्तै चाहने अर्थ र काम पनि धर्मबाटै प्राप्त हुन्छन्"-
ऊर्ध्वबाहर्ुर्विरौम्येष न च कश्चिच्छृणोति मे ।
धर्मादर्थश्च कामश्च स किमथर्ं न सेव्यते ।। -१८।५।६२)
भन्ने कुरा देखाएका छन् । तर्सथ सबैका लागि अर्थ, काम, मोक्ष यी तीनै पुरुषार्थ सिद्ध गर्न आवश्यक समुचित व्यवस्था मिलाउनु र ती पुरुषार्थ प्राप्त गर्ने बाटो देखाउनु नै धर्मविचारको मूल प्रयोजन हो भन्ने कुरा स्पष्ट हुन्छ । अर्थात् मनुष्यलाई बाँच्दा न्याय्यवृत्तिमा रमाएर सुखशान्तिपर्ूवक बाँच्न र मर्दा र्स्वर्गनिष्ठ वा ब्रहृमनिष्ठ भएर मर्न तत्पर बनाउनु नै धर्मविचारको मूल उद्देश्य रहेको बुझिन्छ । त्यसैले मानवजीवनमा धर्मको आवश्यकता र महत्त्व अत्यन्त धेरै छ भन्ने कुरा स्पष्ट छ ।

ज्योतिष विज्ञानका विभिन्न हाँगाहरूमध्ये अंक विज्ञान पनि महत्वपर्ूण्ा मानिन्छ । यो भविष्यफल जान्नका लागि विशिष्ट माध्यम बन्दछ । यसको माध्यमबाट मानव जीवनसँग सम्बन्धित महत्वपर्ूण्ा घटनाको जानकारी दिन सकिन्छ । अंक ज्योतिषको क्षेत्रमा पाश्चात्य ज्योतिष कीरो -काउन्टलुइस हेमन), मागर्रर्ेट अनौल्ड, वाल्टर बी. गिब्सन, हिचकाँक, युनाइटेड क्रास आदिले ठूलो योगदान दिएका छन् अंक विज्ञानमा विभिन्न अवधारणाहरू प्रचलित छन् । अंक विज्ञान जान्नुभन्दा पहिले यसको सैद्धान्तिक पक्षलाई जान्न आवश्यक पर्दछ । अतः पाठकलाई अंक विज्ञानको बरोमा प्रमुख अवधारणाको जानकारी दिँदैछु ।
अंक ० देखि ९ सम्मका अक्षरलाई अंक भनिन्छ, जसलाई मिलाएर संख्या बनाउन सकिन्छ ।

मूलांक अंक गणितमा ० देखि ९ सम्मको १० धनात्मक पर्ूण्ा संख्या नै आधारभूत अंक हुन् । यसैको माध्यमबाट अरू सबै संख्याहरू -जुन लाखौँ, अरबौँ हुन्छन्) बनाउन मिल्दछ । फेरि पनि अंक ज्योतिषमा ० संख्यालाई छाडेर १(९ सम्मको आधारभूत संख्यालाई नै मूलांक मानिन्छ ।

मानिसको भविष्य निर्माणमा जुत्ता चप्पलको भूमिकाकेा विषयमा भन्नुपर्दा र्सवप्रथम जुत्ता, चप्पलको रङले दिने जानकारीलाई ध्यानमा राख्नर्ुपर्दछ । जस्तै( कालो रङको जुत्ता या चप्पल लगाउनाले विश्वसनीय एवं गम्भीर बनाउँछ । एकआपसमा सहयोगको भावना पैदा गराउँछ । पारिवारिक दोष, सम्बन्ध विच्छेद र अन्य सामाजिक दोष प्रायः कम गराउँछ । रहनसहन, वातचितमा शालीनता साथै वचनको पक्का बनाउँछ । २९ वर्षा व्यवसाय या नोकरीमा परिवर्तन गराउँछ । ३१ वर्षा केही कष्ट आउँछ । पति या पत्नी सौम्य सुशील प्राप्त हुन्छ । ३३ या ३६ वर्षा धन या पदोन्नतिको योग हुन्छ । ४६ वर्षम्ममा आफ्नो भाग्यलाई पर्ूण्ा स्थापित गराउँदछन् । आयु प्रायः ७० वर्षन्दा कम नै हुन्छ । यात्राको अधिक योग बन्दछ । जन्मभूमिबाट टाढा रहेमा अधिक लाभ हुन्छ र्।र् इश्वर भक्त, समाज, गुरु आद्रि्रति विशेष सम्मान राख्दछन् । केही गुप्त रोग पैदा हुन्छ । २० वर्षन्दा अघि पानीमा डुब्ने या बगाउने योग हुन्छ । १ या २ प्रेम सम्बन्ध पनि जीवनमा रहन्छ ।

जसै कुनै वर-कन्याको विवाहको बारेमा कुरा चल्दछ त यिनीहरू दुवैको मनमा स्वाभाविक रूपले नै उत्सुकता जाग्दछ कि जीवनसाथी कस्तो होला - उसको रङ, रूप, शारीरिक गठन, स्वभाव, विद्या धन-वैभव इत्यादि कस्तो होला -
यी सबै जिज्ञासाका बारेमा त प्रायः वर-कन्याका मातापिताले नै जिम्मेवारीपर्ूवक भूमिका निभाएका हुन्छन् । अतः यी साधारण प्रश्न नै हुन् ।

कुण्डलीमा छैठौँ भावलाई रोगसम्बन्धी आधार मानेर विचार गरिन्छ । परन्तु यौन रोगको बारेमा विचार गर्दा सातौँ तथा आठौँ भावको पनि अध्ययन गर्नु आवश्यक हुन आउँछ, किनकि सप्तम भाव, बस्तीस्थान
-नाभीदेखि मूलसम्म) तथा आठौँ भावलाई गुप्तेन्द्रीयको स्थान मानिन्छ । अतः स्पष्टै छ कि यी दुवै स्थान कामभोगसँग सम्बन्धित छन् ।
यौन विज्ञानमा चन्द्रमाले मनलाई उत्तेजित पार्दछ, मङ्गल वर्ीय तथा शक्ति प्रदान गर्दछ, बुध, क्रीडामा स्नायु मण्डलको माध्यमबाट सन्तुष्टि दिलाउँछ र शुक्र सम्भोग गर्दछ । यसरी सफल यौन जीवनमा चन्द्रमा मङ्गल, बुध तथा शुक्रको शुभ स्थिति हुन जरुरत हुन आउँछ । साथै सप्तम तथा अष्टम भाव शनि तथा राहुको प्रभावबाट मुक्त हुनु झन् नितान्त जरुरी छ ।

In our everyday life many a times certain events are taking place. For example, the excitement of the eyebrows, itching of a palm or sole, sudden sneeze, funny chirping sounds of birds fresh moles on the body, sond of knocking on the door, feeling of movement in a steady picture, bad dreams, etc. All these things indicate auspicious and inauspicious signs. If the construction of the building in done as per Vastu Shaastra the proportion of good omens or auspicious signs is more.
If there are frequent bad signs it indicates that the building construction is faulty. No signs is sudden intentional or haphazard. It is always natural and timely. Any unnatural or planned action does not mean an omen. The great saint Varahmihir has made logical statement about good and bad sign. According to him the good and bad actions of a person in the part are reflected in his future and the pre intimation is obtained in the present.
There are different types of omens. Some of them are related to the domestic animals like cow, dog, cat, horse, bird, etc. Some omens are related to will animals like lion, deer, tiger, bear, etc. Some aquatic animals like frog, crocodile, etc. Some aquaic animals like from, crocodile etc. also indicate some omens. Chicago, IL - April 24, 2009 -- A computerized system that measures the psychological impact of transiting planets on the human psyche is described by its creator as having “just progressed to the Model T Ford stage.”

Even
so, the mathematically-based system, which selectively calculates and assigns positive or negative values to the changing angular distances between orbiting planets, is at this point accurate enough to predict the mood swings driving directional shifts in global stock prices -- up and down. And this, says technical market analyst Richard F. Schulz, “just begins to tap its long-range potential.”

The system he calls the Technical Aspect Oscillator (TAO) is described in the April/May issue of The Mountain Astrologer magazine. It is designed to scientifically measure and predict the impact of orbiting planets on investor sentiment and, by extension, price moves in the marketplace.

Schulz says continual tracking has revealed close statistical correlations between the global psychological indications predicted by the technology and bullish and bearish stock market sentiment." There's less than a one in 10,000 probability that the observed correlations occurred by chance.

The research supports the astrological premise in two important ways. It confirms that the various archetypal energies astrologers have traditionally identified with the orbiting planets can be rigorously observed impacting human affairs. And it confirms that changing planetary alignments or patterns predictably influence outcomes in measurable ways,” he noted.

Modern astrologers believe that archetypal energies associated with transiting planets are both distinctive and dualistic in nature. For example, Saturn is positively identified with such qualities as stability and sound philosophical judgment and negatively with fear, separation, restriction and physical limitations. Jupiter represents the principle of expansion, optimism and success, but is negatively identified with extravagance, inflation, excessive overconfidence and the like.

In a similar vein, Martian energy is positively identified with action and initiative and negatively with anger and frustration, Schulz said.

“For centuries, astrologers also have claimed that the changing angular relationships between orbiting planets powerfully impact events on earth. Whether the various planetary archetypes will be expressed positively or negatively largely depends upon the way they are aligned with each other at any given time,” he explained.

As viewed from the earth, orbiting planets appear to be moving at different speeds. The reason for this is because some planets are a lot farther from the sun than others and have move celestial distance to cover in their elliptical orbits. As a result, faster moving planets (including the sun and moon) appear to continually overtake slower moving planets, forming what astrologer's call applying and separating “aspects” as part of predictable cycles.

Because the mathematics of celestial mechanics are well understood, astronomers and astrologers can quickly determine precisely where in the heavens the sun, moon and every known planet in the solar system can be found. Also known is the exact number of astronomical degrees separating the planets as they travel through the various zodiacal signs.

Some aspects between planetary pairs are deemed to be stressful while others promote harmony and ease. For example, planets forming aspects of 60 and 120 degrees (the sextile and trine) are believed to influence the human psyche in positive or productive ways, while the stressful square and opposition ( 90 and 180 degree) aspects have the opposite affect.

Aspects are said to be “in orb” or operative a few degrees before and after the angle is exact. Schulz says the zero-degree conjunction is a powerful aspect that begins and ends the cycle and can be experienced either positively or negatively depending upon the psychological characteristics of the planets involved in the aspect.

“Scientists have ridiculed this idea since the 17th century, arguing that no mechanism exists to plausibly explain how planetary energies could manifest in this way. However, new evidence impressively supports the astrological position,” Schulz maintains.

In physics, an oscillator is a measurement between maximum and minimum values. More than two decades of research went into development of the TAO 2 technical aspect oscillator Schulz created to analyze investment sentiment in the financial markets. On a continual basis, the TAO 2 system computes the changing angular relationships between nine different planetary pairs. The planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars are prominently featured in these pairings.

Schulz says the TAO 2 technology continually calculates a weighted positive or negative value for every degree of angular separation between the planetary pairs. Also compiled is a composite score and moving average that can, over time, be statistically compared with moving averages for the various stock market indexes. Simply, like the market averages, when TAO 2's average score is raising people's attitudes and outlook are hypothesized to be more optimistic. Conversely, when the number is falling, pessimism persists.

Because TAO 2 and the various stock market indexes are independent variables with known and constantly changing numerical values, they can be compared with each other using the Pearson product-movement correlation coefficient, a common statistical test used to scientifically determine whether a linear relationship exists. This method creates correlation values (the Pearson r) between -1.000 and +1.000 with r = +0.30 the threshold for statistical significance.

In a series of tests conducted between January 1, 1999 and June 30, 2008, the TAO 2's moving average was compared with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) and S&P 500 Index twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays over the 117-month period -- a total of 990 separate comparisons for each index. A number of issues including matrimonial, birth of children after marriage and their sex determination based on astrological calculations were discussed on the concluding day.

Vice-Chancellor, Meerut University SP Ojha presided over the valedictory function and stressed upon standardisation of the discipline.

Around 200 astrologers from different parts of the country participated in the programme. Department of jyotish in the university along with Jyotish Vignana Samiti (JVS) in the city had jointly organised the seminar.

Head, department of jyotish, SSU, Nagendra Pandey, general secretary, JVS Sadanand Shukla and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.

Koirala Memorial Planetarium, Observatory and Science Museum Development Board. He brought the first telescope to Nepal from Russia and organized public observations at Tundikhel, In the early 1970s.

Asian Astrologers' Conference is going to be held in Nepali capital Kathmandu in 1st & 2nd of June 2009 at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, Kamaladi.Nepal.

According to the report, Indian Proffesor Dr. Ram Krishna Shastri has been selected as the chairman of the organizing committee. Dr. Lokraj poudel, palmist Bishwo Raj Thapa, Dr. Sahadev Bista and Madhav Mangaj Joshi from Nepali side have been selected as co-chairman, general secretary, treasurer and chief coordinator of the conference organizing committee.

The organizing committee has 113 members from all member countries in Asia. The conference will work out strategy to be adopted in the astrology sector in Asia and hold session-wise discussion on palmistry and related eastern philosophy.

Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka, among other countries, are members of the Asian Astrologers' Congress.

Famous Russian astrologer Pavel Globa has predicted that the US President Barack Obama will be murdered in 2011.

“Barack Obama will meet the same fate as John F. Kennedy in two years,” Globa said. He also forecast that a third World War will begin after Obama’s murder.

Rahman, who recently became the first Indian to win the Oscar award(s), is a regular visitor to the Hasrat Dastageer Sahib Mosque situated on Dr. Radhakrishnan Road in Mylapore, Chennai. The music maestro, whenever he happens to be in Chennai, never misses to visit the 234-year old Mosque every Friday.

Rehman has been a regular visitor to this Mosque for the past twenty years. A Moulvi by name Syed Shah Karimulla Husseini Khatri at the Mosque holds the credit for changing A.R. Rehman's name from his earlier name A S Dilip Kumar. Though Khatri is no more now, Rehman regularly pays floral tributes to the dead Moulvi at the latter's crematorium inside the Mosque.

Meanwhile, an astrologer by name 'Om Ulaganathan', who is the president of the world association of astrologers, has displayed a huge hoarding at his Office on the 100-feet road in Vadapalani claiming that he was the one who changed Rahman's name from Dilip Kumar. Problems on Proposed(11 Months) Nepali Calendar

Government of Nepal has recently directed Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Committee to produce panchangas( calendars) for the Vikram's years 2066 and 2067, by excluding the solar month chaitra from 2066, and validating the adhika masa, which occurs in Baishakh of 2067 as a regular lunar month. Chaitra excluded, the Vikram's year 2066 will consist of only eleven months. The logic behind this decision is precession of the equinoxes, due to which the six seasons have moved back by 24 days. According to the sayana system, this retrogression of seasons is theoretically unquestionable although it tends to dishevel astrological canons of interpretation and system of belief. We have no theoretical disagreement with it; neither do we deny that Hindu festivals and ceremonies bear importance only if linked to their respective seasons. However we have considered it urgent to raise some concerns.
First, if the seasons have drifted back by 24 days from their original places, why do we need to move them one month backwards in order for adjustment? Why not just 24 days?
Our first concern is that this is not the right time for the decision. If the precession of the equinoxes were 30 degree, it would be the right time for readjusting the festivals to their respective seasons although such readjustment is required every 2150 years. It would be perfectly rational, in a sense, and would cause little or no confusion if implemented simultaneously in both Nepal and India.
Our second concern is that the decision is bound to shake religious faith of the people in both India and Nepal, which are religiously inseparable. Maha Shivaratri, for example, is a common festival observed by millions of pilgrims from India to Nepal and vice versa. How chaotic it will be if this festival is observed in Nepal one month prior to India! The same is true with Bibaha Panchami, the wedding ceremony between Shree Ram from Ayodhya and Sita awaiting Him in Janakpur. This festival is most popularly celebrated in Janakpurdham. With the decision implemented, when the groom Shree Ram arrives in Janakpur, the wedding will have been over!
These are only a few examples. We assume a number of such discordance and confusion related to common belief, culture and customs. Playing with the deep-rooted faith of people is always disastrous. It must be very sensibly and sensitively handled.
Therefore we strongly object to this decision of Nepal Government, and seriously request that it be postponed for now. If it is to be implemented, it should implemented simultaneously in at least India and Nepal. Considering the far-reaching consequences of the decision, we have formed a protest committee, and declared a set of peaceful protest programs with full involvement of astrological and religious organizations such as South-Asian Astro-Federation Kathmandu, Nepal, Nepal Jyotish Parishad etc.
We would like to request earnestly for support and suggestion from you all, to create pressure on Nepal Government to withdraw this reckless decision- the decision which is too hurried and short-sighted to assess the inevitable upheaval in religious faith of the people.

New Year 2066 will have 11 Months

Nepal's New Year 2066 will be one month shorter than the regular calendar and have 11 months only, Culture ministry official today
informed.

"According to Bikram Era calendar beginning from mid-April, 2066 year will have 11 months only, one month shorter than the regular one," Ministry of Culture and State Restructure spokesperson Lok Bahadur Khatri told reporters here.

"Nepal government has taken this decision after consulting the astrologers," he said.

The New Year beginning from the month Baisakh will normally ends with Chaitra, but this time there will be no Chaitra. After Falgun of 2066, 2067 Baisakh will come, Khatri said.

"The Hindu festival Vijaya Dashami will also come one month in advance in the next year. The month has been shortened to 11 to make adjustment with the solar movement," he said.

There is a Leap Year in Gregorian Calendar for making such adjustments. But as Nepal does not has such a provision, we have to deduct one month for the adjustment, Khatri added.

The conflict between rational and adherents of astrology has been going on for hundreds of years. India is no different and the same tussle persists in this soil too. However, the contribution of Indian astrology has not been less than any and its attraction in the world (especially after the introduction of internet or other sophisticated technology) knows no bounds. The foundation of Indian astrology or Jyotisha is found in the Vedas, ancient Hindu scriptures.

Well, there is a acute difference between the Indian and western astrology The practice of Jyotisha primarily relies on the sidereal zodiac, which is different from the tropical zodiac used in Western astrology in that an ayanamsa adjustment is made for the gradual precession of the vernal equinox.
